FSD Policy Manual – 3.13.5 Participant Requests for Vendor Coverage

PROCEDURE:

When a participant changes a Vendor facility or the type of Vendor facility, continued eligibility must be explored.

Update the Facility Information Details screen for the current facility to reflect the date and reason for leaving. Next, clear the screen to add the new facility as appropriate. If the new placement requires a DHSS level of care determination, a PEND will occur in Technical Eligibility. MO HealthNet coverage continues until a decision is reached.

If an allotment will be discontinued, the allotment income for the dependent or community spouse must be ended.
