A Permanently Disabled Individual Must be determined by receipt of Old Age Survivor’s and Disability Insurance (OASDI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or employer-sponsored disability insurance. However, this exemption may be used by individuals who have applied for these benefits and are awaiting a final determination. If the application for OASDI, SSDI, SSI or employer-sponsored disability insurance is approved, the exempt code remains 06. If their application is rejected, the individual’s disability must be evaluated by MRT in order to establish continued exemption from work activity participation
