How Do I Know: Finding the Application Details and Application Due Dates
Why This Is Important: This allows you to see the details of a participant’s application(s). Example: Who requested benefits. Did the applicant ask for Prior Quarter? And when the application(s) is/are due.
This information is found on the Application Details screen and the MO HealthNet Application Due Dates screen.
- From the FAMIS Main Menu screen type the fastpath FAMISPAR or FM0D on the command line.
- Press CTRL key
- Tab down to either the SSN or DCN fields and enter the appropriate number. If you use the DCN, FAMIS uses a 10-digit number. You will need to add two leading zeros to the 8-digit DCN. Press Ctrl.
Or
- Type REQUEST on the Command line and press Ctrl.
- You are now on the REQUEST screen and see a red box next to Applicant. Prompt out in the red field, select the applicant you are looking for, and press Ctrl.
You will now see the most current applications entered for this applicant/participant and the due dates for all applications except Mo HealthNet. In the example below, the SNAP due date shows as 07/03/2019 and the 30th day date is 07/10/2019. We will see the due dates for this MHABD application on another screen.
- To view details specific to an application, type an S to select the application you are looking into and press F14=APPDETL.
- You now see the application detail screen you chose. Below is an example of the MO HealthNet Application Details. This screen shows us several things.
- Who signed the application
- Did the applicant request prior quarter
- If yes to prior quarter, did they have income during the prior quarter
- The name and DOB for each Eligibility Unit member
- The date the applicant requested benefits( the same as the date the application was received by FSD)
- And the Benefits Requested code. This code tells FAMIS if the person is requesting benefits for themselves and if FAMIS should include their income and resources when considering eligibility for others requesting benefits
At the bottom of this screen, you see F15=DUEDATES.
To see the due dates for MO HealthNet applications in FAMIS you must press F15=DUEDATES.
The screen shows you 3 different due dates. The first is for the QMB/SLMB programs. The 2nd will apply if the applicant is applying for MHABD due to old age (65 yrs old or over). And the 3rd due date applies to applicants needing MO HealthNet due to a disability or blindness.
