Non-MAGI: Update SELADMAR when a Hearing is Requested or Acting on a Cancel Rejection
AR role of APO will be used to indicate the AR has been designated to assist with the application process only. An AR coded as APO will be ended by FAMIS upon the completion of the application (approval or rejection). If a hearing is requested or cancel rejection is needed, the staff member who receives the hearing request or acts on the cancel rejection must update SELADMAR (Select ADM Authorized Representative).
When a hearing is requested or cancel rejection is needed, begin with Step 1.
When a hearing decision is received, begin with Step 13.
Step 1:
Locate participant on FAMISPAR/FM0D.
Step 2:
Type an ‘S’ on the Com line in front of the appropriate ADM Eligibility Unit (EU) in the repeating group.
Step 3:
If appropriate:

- Fastpath to ACTRES
- Type a ‘U’ on the command line
- Type an ‘S’ in front of the appropriate action
- Update the Status field to CRJ
- Press Ctrl
Step 4:
Fastpath to SELADMAR (Select ADM Authorized Representative)
Step 5:
Tab to the EU field. Prompt out and select the appropriate ADM EU.
Step 6:
Tab to the DCN field. Prompt out and select the appropriate participant’s DCN.
Step 7:
Type an ‘S’ in front of the appropriate representative and press Ctrl.
Step 8:
Type a ‘U’ on the Command line.
Step 9:
Update the Hearing Requested field to Y.
Step 10:
Make a comment indicating why the End Date was removed.
Once the hearing decision is received:
Step 11:
Locate participant on FAMISPAR/FM0D.
Step 12:
Type an ‘S’ on the Com line in front of the appropriate ADM Eligibility Unit (EU) in the repeating group.
Step 13:
Fastpath to SELADMAR (Select ADM Authorized Representative)
Step 14:
Tab to the EU field. Prompt out and select the appropriate ADM EU.
Step 15:
Tab to the DCN field. Prompt out and select the appropriate participant’s DCN.
Step 16:
Type an ‘S’ in front of the appropriate representative and press Ctrl.
Step 17:
Type a ‘U’ on the Command line.
Step 18:
Update the Hearing Requested field to N.
Step 19:
Enter the current date in the End Date field.
Step 20:
Make a comment indicating why representative was ended.
Step 21:
Approve or reject the application as indicated by the hearing decision.
