Caseload Setup Guide
Caseload assignments made on the Caseload Setup screen can impact a participant’s case.
When registering an application and you encounter the Caseload Setup screen in the controlled flow, simply press F9 to flow forward.
Continue with these instructions only if pressing F9 Caseload Setup screen does not advance you to the next screen.
Prior to making any changes on Caseload Setup:

- In FAMIS, fastpath to SCMBR
- DFS Office field: Notate which FSD office serves the participant’s county of residence
- FSD offices with codes ending with 02 (ex: 01202, 05902) all handle specialized caseloads and should not be changed.
- NOTE: Follow appropriate procedures for specialized caseloads.
- Go to County Contact Card
- Enter the 5 digit DFS Office code or Residential County Name in the search box
- Notate the User ID and Load Number shown for the servicing county
- In FAMIS, fastpath to CONFLOWS, select participant, press CTRL
- CONFLOWS takes you to Caseload Setup screen
- In FAMIS, fastpath to SCMBR
On Caseload Setup:

- Type a U on the command line
- User ID field: Enter the User ID for the servicing county
- Press CTRL
- If message is “Successfully Displayed”:
- Select the line with Caseload Type EUC
- Press CTRL to see message “Successfully Updated”
- Press F9 to flow forward and resume processing
- If message is a Red Error Message:
- Fastpath to SCREASSN
- Type U on the command line
- Caseload field: Enter all 6 digits of the caseload number for the servicing county (located via County Contact Card link)
- Note: Must add zeroes to the front of any load number that is fewer than 6 digits
- Press CTRL to see message “Successfully Updated”
- Press F5
- Active Eligibility Unit Caseload (EUC) appears in middle of screen
- Fastpath to CONFLOWS, select participant, press CTRL
- If CONFLOWS takes you to Caseload Setup screen:
- Select the newly assigned caseload
- Press CTRL to continue in Controlled Flow
- If CONFLOWS takes you to next screen in the Controlled Flow, resume processing
- If CONFLOWS takes you to Caseload Setup screen:
- If message is “Successfully Displayed”:
If the information you enter from the County Contact Card link does not work in FAMIS, preventing you from properly registering the application:
- Go back to the County Contact Card site
- Enter the 5 digit DFS Office code or Residential County Name in the search box
- Click Edit icon next to the County name
- Click Request Update to Contact Information button
- Click Close to submit your request
