Blind Pension Program-Certified Mail

All notices sent to a Blind Pension (BP) applicant and/or recipient must be sent certified mail.

The Adult MO HealthNet Adverse Action Notice (FA420) and the Adult MO HealthNet Benefit Notice (FA460) are FAMIS generated notices during the nightly batch process. These two forms will be automatically sent certified mail when generated. The Certified Mail tracking number is displayed on the Document Queue (DOCQUE/FMVM) and Document History (DOCHST/FMVR) screens.

All other documents related to BP eligibility must be sent by certified mail to the applicant/participant and to the primary Authorized Representatives (AR). Offices will set procedures on how certified mail labels will be accessed.
