How Do I Know: FAMIS Program Participation Screen (FAMISPAR)

Why This Is Important: This allows you to access the FAMIS Program Participation Screen to determine if an individual is known to the FAMIS System.

  1. From the FAMIS Main Menu screen type the fastpath FAMISPAR or FM0D on the command line.
  2. Press Ctrl

  1. If screen displays information and it is not the person you are working with, Press F10=CLEAR
  2. Tab down to either the SSN or DCN fields and enter the appropriate number. If you use the DCN, FAMIS uses a 10-digit number. You will need to add two leading zeros to the 8-digit DCN.
  3. Press Ctrl.

  1. Review the name and information to determine if this is the correct person.
  2. Decide what you want to look at next.

The FAMIS Program Participation screen displays the information associated with the SSN or DCN for which you made the inquiry. You notice if you used the SSN to find the information, FAMIS displays the DCN as 10-digits instead of 8 in the field.

  • Child Care Subsidy cases display in FAMISPAR with a case number beginning with the program code CC.
  • SNAP cases display in FAMISPAR with a case number beginning with the program code FS.
  • Temporary Assistance cases display in FAMISPAR with a case number beginning with the program code TA.
  • MO HealthNet for Aged, Blind, and Disabled display in FAMISPAR with a case number beginning with the program code MA.

To the right of the case number (EU = Eligibility Unit) the status of the case and the individual displays. Common status codes displayed are:

  • ACT Active
  • CLO Closed
  • REJ Rejected
  • APP Application

Note: After locating the appropriate Eligibility Unit on the FAMIS Program Participation screen, you can access additional screens and review specific information about an individual’s case.
