How Do I Know: Reviewing the Participant’s Relationship Information

Why This Is Important: This allows you to access and review the participant’s relationship information. Establishing the correct relationships among and between members of the Supercase is a critical component of an accurate eligibility determination. The View Relationship Information screen is a “snapshot” of the relationship information for the assistance group.

  1. Use FAMISPAR or FM0D to locate the individual.
  2. Press F10=CLEAR if another participant appears.
  3. Enter the Social Security Number SSN or Departmental Client Number DCN and press the Ctrl
  4. Select the Eligibility Unit by typing an S in the “Sel” field next to the specific program.
  5. Type the fastpath VIEWREL on the command line.
  6. Press Ctrl.

This is the View Relationship Information screen.

Read the View Relationship table from top to bottom and left to right. For example, the individual on the top left column of the table heading is “Charlotte”. In the rows of the table are the other members of the Supercase.

    • Wilbur is the spouse of Charlotte (SPO)
    • Billy is the son of Charlotte (SON)
    • Cindy is the daughter of Charlotte (DAU)
    • Charlotte is the mother of Billy (MOM)
    • Wilbur is the father of Billy (DAD)
    • Cindy is the sister of Billy (SIS)

Note: Users may type or prompt out (=F4) in the DCN field to view only the individuals related to a specific individual. This includes relationships to individuals outside of the Supercase. Use of the DCN field does not require the SCN or EU. The result is the same whether or not these fields are populated. See example below:

    • Charlotte is the mom of Billy (MOM)
