How Do I Know: Finding Comments in EUMEMROL for the Eligibility Unit
Why This Is Important: EUMEMROL allows you to read comments regarding actions taken on a case. These can include but are not limited to comments regarding:
- Application Registration
- Application Processing
- Change in Circumstances
- Summary of actions taken
- From the FAMIS Main Menu screen type the fastpath FAMISPAR or FM0D on the command line.
- Press CTRL key
- Tab down to either the SSN or DCN fields and enter the appropriate number. If you use the DCN, FAMIS uses a 10-digit number. You will need to add two leading zeros to the 8-digit DCN.
- Press Ctrl.
Or
- Type EUMEMROL on the command line.
- Select the program you would like to see the comments for by typing an S in the “Sel” field next to the specific program.
- Press ctrl. Each type of case in FAMIS (SNAP, TA, CC, MAHBD) will have it’s own EUMEMROL screen.
- If you see a Y next to Comment Y/N in the upper right corner, this indicates there is at least 1 comment to view. Press F18=COMMENT to view the comments.
- You will see a list of all the EUMEMROL comments that have been entered for the program you are viewing.
- To view a specific comment, select the comment you would like to read and press control.
If you would like to read another comment press F21=RETURN, select the comment and press control.
If you would like to read comments on another program press F21 twice to go back to EUMEMROL, then prompt out in the EU field and choose the program you want to view next. Follow steps 8 through 10.
