How Do I Know: Finding a Participant’s Citizenship Verification
Why This Is Important: This allows you to see if FSD has verified citizenship or still requires this from the applicant.
This information is found on the Citizenship Verification screen (CITVERF).
- From the FAMIS Main Menu screen type the fastpath FAMISPAR or FM0D on the command line.
- Press CTRL key
- Tab down to either the SSN or DCN fields and enter the appropriate number. If you use the DCN, FAMIS uses a 10-digit number. You will need to add two leading zeros to the 8-digit DCN. Press Ctrl.
- Select the appropriate Eligibility Unit.
- Type CITVERF on the command line and press Ctrl.
- You are now viewing the Citizenship Verification screen. If the application has been processed or the applicant has applied previously, you will see a code in both Citizen Document and Ver fields as well as a Y in the comment field.
