How Do I Know: Finding All Actions Taken on a Case in FAMIS
Why This Is Important: This allows you to see any actions FAMIS has taken on a case. Example: Is the case pending, approved, rejected or closed?
- From the FAMIS Main Menu screen type the fastpath FAMISPAR or FM0D on the command line
- Press CTRL key
- Tab down to either the SSN or DCN fields and enter the appropriate number. If you use the DCN, FAMIS uses a 10-digit number. You will need to add two leading zeros to the 8-digit DCN. Press CTRL

- Select the case you want to view actions for, type EULOG on the command line, and press CTRL
- EULOG displays a history of actions taken on a case.
- Listed on the screen are:
- Action taken. Examples: APPR = Approval, REJC = Rejection, CLOS = Closed Use the guide How Do I Know: Action Codes in the FAMIS System if needed
- The status of that action
- The status date
- The date the action was determined
- The benefit month the action is affecting
- Listed on the screen are:
- If you would like more information on a specific action, select the action line and press F17=INQUATH
The MHABD Action Authorization screen displays. This screen provides much of the same information as the Eligibility Unit Summary screen.
- For MHABD select the line you wish to review and press F16=MHABD.
The MHABD Assistance Group Summary displays the eligibility results for the coverages explored. This participant is eligible for Spend Down coverage, as PASS is displayed under Tech, Res and Inc columns. She does fails Ticket to Work Health Assurance (TWHA) due to the FAIL displaying in the Inc (Income) column.
- Press F21=RETURN two times back to EU Action Log.
To review why an application is rejected or an active case is closed, complete steps 1-5 above
- Select the EU and press F17=INQAUTH
For this participant, her SNAP application was rejected (REJ) due to excessive income (EXI).
