Annual Renewal – Under Renewal Watermark

Follow the steps below if the Integrated Case is “Under Renewal” and you are attempting to complete a CIC that extends the certification period that is NOT part of the returned IM-1U.

Note: An IM-1SSL application may be used to complete the annual renewal as long as it has all the required information

 

 

PROCESS CIC RECEIVED DURING RENEWAL PERIOD

    1. When the Under Renewal Watermark is present on an Integrated Case, you must check to see if an IM-1U has been returned.
    2. Look for the returned IM-1U in the VFR.
    3. If the completed IM-1U is in the VFR:
        1. Begin the Annual Renewal per Annual Renewal- Begin Renewal guide.
        2. Proceed to Annual Renewal – Processing a Manual Renewal (IM-1U).
    4. If the completed IM-1U is NOT in the VFR:
        1. DO NOT select Begin Renewal.
        2. Proceed to Processing CIC in 04 Managing an Integrated Case / CIC / MAGI Annual Renewal
            1. The Under Renewal watermark will remain in place along with the IM-80 and IM-33C in the notice queue tied to non-return of the IM-1U.
            2. The only action menu item available will be the Finalized Proposed Determination.
            3. The Finalize and Complete the AR only becomes available after the Begin Renewal is selected.
