Remove Eligibility from a Person on an IC
When an Integrated Case member no longer wishes to receive health care coverage but remains in the MAGI household.

TO REMOVE ELIGIBILITY FOR A PERSON ON AN INTEGRATED CASE
If completing this task as part of a returned IM-1U, or if the case is Under Renewal, you must first follow steps to To Create a Manual Renewal and To Complete Manual Renewal.

- Navigate to the Integrated Case > Evidence sub-tab > Dashboard folder
- Click on Application Details hyperlink
- Toggle open the participant requesting coverage be removed. Copy the Application ID. This will be used later in step 12.
- Click the List Actions
menu
- Click Edit
- Enter End Date with previous day’s date
- Select End Reason from the drop down box
- Click Save
- Click the Page Actions
menu
- Select New
- Select Participant (eligibility just removed from) from the drop down box
- In the Application Details section, complete the following:
- Application ID (copied in step 3 above)
- Application Date (must be the day following the date Application Details were ended and match the Received Date)
- DO NOT check the Applicant check box
NOTE: If the participant being added back to the Integrated Case was the Head of Household, check the Primary Applicant check box

- Click Save
- Close the Application Details tab
- Verify all Outstanding Evidence
- Apply Changes, Check Proposed Determination, Finalize Proposed Determination
- Click Save
NOTE: MEDES may generate an additional proposed determination, especially in cases with income changes, adding a person, or removing a person. If the system generated an additional proposed determination, you must run the Finalize Proposed Determination again.

- Make a comment on the HoH Person Page to include:
- Person removed
- Any Coverage Changes
- Review Notice Queue to make sure appropriate forms generated
