Minor Parent Not in an Adult Supervised Living Arrangement

Temporary Assistance:

When an unmarried Minor Parent (under the age of 18) does not live in an adult supervised living arrangement and does not meet an exception, the EU does not meet the Minor Parent Living Arrangement eligibility factor.

Entries on TEEPAR when Not Living in an Adult Supervised Setting:

    1. From TEEPAR (FM88), type an A in the Command line
    2. Confirm the DCN for the Minor Parent is displayed. If not:
      1. Tab to the DCN field and prompt out (=F4)
      2. Tab to the Minor Parent, type an S on the Sel field and press CTRL
    3. Complete the required fields:
      1. Adult Supervised Setting – type N

      1. Good Cause – prompt out (=F4), tab to and type an S in the Sel field in front of the code NONE – No Good Cause Exists and press CTRL.

      1. Verification – prompt out or type the appropriate verification code. If no verification has been provided type CS.
    1. Press CTRL to save the entries

    1. Press F18=Comment, record details about the Minor Parent’s living arrangement and why no good cause reason exists.
