Withdraw or Deny an Application Case from the Integrated Case
If the applicant has requested both Ongoing Health Benefits and Prior Quarter (PQ) Benefits, and you have authorized only one of these (Ongoing or PQ), you can authorize, withdraw, or deny the remaining benefits from the Integrated Case (IC). To authorize the remaining benefits, see the Authorize an Application Case user guide. To withdraw or deny, see the steps below.

TO DENY PQ BENEFITS FROM AN INTEGRATED CASE
Ongoing Health Benefits and Prior Quarter (PQ) Benefits requested. Ongoing Benefits have been authorized. Deny PQ benefits on the Integrated Case. Actions cannot be taken on the Application Case.
1. From the Integrated Case > Page Action menu
2. Select Deny Prior Quarter Benefit
3. Select a reason for the denial from the Deny Reason drop down menu. You do not need to leave a comment here.
4. Select Submit. This opens the Are You Sure You Want To Deny This Benefit popup box
5. Select OK
6. Make a comment on the HoH Person Page to include any Coverage Changes
7. Review Notice Queue to make sure the IM-33RPQ: Prior Quarter Rejection Notice generated

2. Select Deny Ongoing Benefit. You do not need to leave a comment here
3. Select a reason for the denial from the Deny Reason drop down menu. You do not need to leave a comment here
4. Select Submit. This opens the Are You Sure You Want To Deny This Benefit popup box
5. Select OK
6. Make a comment on the HoH Person Page to include any Coverage Changes
7. Review Notice Queue to make sure the IM-33R Rejection Notice generated
