Adverse Action with Pending Evidence Verification

When an IM-31A is generated for a case with pending evidence verifications, the system will generate an IM-80 and IM-33C to be sent if the information is not received. If the pending verification is received and entered the IM-80 and IM-33C will be discarded and replaced with a new IM-80 and IM-33C to inform the household of the change if appropriate when the action is finalized .

Follow this guide when reviewing a case with pending evidence verifications.

NOTE: ONLY DELETE NOTICES WITH SUPERVISORY APPROVAL

IF ALL REQUESTED INFORMATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED

    1. Update the evidence in edit
    2. Verify, Apply Changes, Review Proposed Determinations, and Finalize Proposed Determinations
    3. Do not delete any notices

IF PARTIAL OR NONE OF THE REQUESTED INFORMATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED

    1. If partial evidence verification is received, update the evidence in edit
    2. Let the Adverse Action process start and DO NOT delete any notices. The client was notified of all information needed. If this was an “add a person” or “add coverage ‘MPW’” the entire case will close as this is considered a CIC
    3. Do not delete any notices; take no further action. The system will take the actions to close the eligibility.

IF INFORMATION REQUESTED HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED DUE TO AGENCY ERROR, SUCH AS 31A WAS SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS OR FSD DID NOT REQUEST ALL THE INFORMATION NEEDED

    1. Update evidence using all applicable user guides
    2. Follow the user guide to Generate a Request for Information

NOTE: The system will restart the process and the previous IM-80 and IM-33C in the Notice Queue will automatically go away when the new IM-31A is sent; a new IM-80 and IM-33C are queued with new mail dates in the notice queue
