How to Resolve a Bad Address on ADRES

Once the Returned Mail field on ADRES has been populated with “Y”, FAMIS will not allow a new application to be registered until the Bad Address is resolved.

When registering an application on APPLICATION REQUEST, as soon as staff press the CTRL key, FAMIS goes directly to ADRES to resolve the Bad Address. After the Bad Address is resolved, staff can continue registering the application.
