Incorrect Address Entry

Correct an Address Change on the same day of new address creation, remove incorrect address and enter new correct address.
This process is applicable only for the day the address is changed in MEDES. If you notice an incorrect entry after the day entered, follow the directions in the Add New HOME Address to the Integrated Case guide to correct the address.

TO CHANGE AN AN INCORRECT ADDRESS ON AN INTEGRATED CASE

- Navigate to the Integrated Case > Evidence sub-tab> Dashboard folder
- Click Address hyperlink
- Click Period to sort the evidence by date range
- Select the first participant with the Period starting today’s date with no end date
- Click
Open Toggle for the participant name
- Click List Actions
Menu
- If you have not finalized the address change and need to correct it, select Continue Editing
- If you have finalized the address change and need to correct it, select Edit
- Make all needed corrections
- Select appropriate participant(s) to Apply Evidence To Other Case Participants
- Click Save
- Verify All Outstanding Verification
- Apply Changes; Check Proposed Determinations; Finalize Proposed Determinations
NOTE: MEDES may generate an additional proposed determination, especially in cases with income changes, adding a person, or removing a person. If the system generated an additional proposed determination, you must Finalize Proposed Determinations again.

NOTE: Address fields must have a minimum of three characters and cannot have more than 30. Use the second address field for apartment (apt) numbers, lot numbers, suites, floors, etc.
