Printing Electronic Documents #
There are occasions when staff must print documents scanned into the Virtual File Room.
PRINTING ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS #
From ECM
- Navigate to FSD Intranet Home Page > FSD Work Sites hot button > ECM Regular Mode link
- Log In
- Complete search for documents
- Maximize your screen for access to the blank area to the right of the document
- Scroll to the last page of the document
- Place your cursor in the blank area to the right of the document
- Right click > Select All
- Right click > Print
NOTE: currently there is no Save option for ECM. Future upgraded ECM functionality will have this feature.
Printing Electronic Documents in ECM “Standard Desktop” #
Use the instructions below to print electronic documents in the ECM
TO PRINT ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT IN ECM
- Click on FSD Work Sites from the FSD Home Page
- Click ECM Standard Desktop
- Click Search – Customer Details Search
- Enter DCN to retrieve document
- Right click on document to be printed
- Drop down menu opens
- Scroll down to Print
- Hover over Print – box appears
- Click Document
- Print box appears – click Print
- Working box appears – preparing document for printing

- individual machine processing time

- Print window opens Be sure PDF Creator appears in the Printer selection NOTE: Do not select Microsoft Print to PDF
- Select ALL pages (or a range of specific pages)
- Click Print.
- PDFCreator window opens
- Enter name of doc in “Filename” box—-example: 12312312 John Smith App
- Click ellipsis (three dots) @ “Folder” and select where to save file
- Click SAVE
- PDFCreator Quick Action window appears-confirm filename and file location/folder on pc
- If no file name is entered before clicking SAVE – the default file will be named viewoneAction.pdf.
It is VERY important to name the file and confirm the folder where the file is saved, BEFORE saving for locating and identifying later.
