The PDF Creator creates a picture copy (PDF) of screens and documents which are saved on a computer drive and then is uploaded to the ECM. PDFs are created from production sessions (IMES, IIVE etc.), emails and Word documents.

Upload documents received electronically, such as verification from a hospital, emails or created on FS Forms.
It is recommended to upload documents in PDF format. However, if the document is not converted, it can still be viewed in the Work Site using the corresponding program of type (i.e., a Word document is still viewable through Microsoft Word.)
ADD AN UPLOADED DOCUMENT TO The VIRTUAL FILEROOM (VFR)
- From the Encapture main page, click on the Collect icon
- On this page, click Create a Batch
- Registration or Audit
- If a document you are uploading is an application or a review, does it need to be registered or have the audit date entered?
- If yes, select Yes to this question.
- If no, select No.
- If a document you are uploading is an application or a review, does it need to be registered or have the audit date entered?
- Already Worked
- Has the document you are uploading already been worked?
- If yes, select Yes to this question
- If no, select No.
- Has the document you are uploading already been worked?
- Select your Originating Unit from the dropdown
- Press the Continue button
- Select the file(s) to be uploaded
- Drag-and-drop feature allows files to be “dropped” into upload field
- Clicking on Browse Files allows standard file selection
- Complete all info fields on the Document Details screen; if DCN is valid, name and birthdate will auto-populate
NOTE: TO AVOID INCORRECT TASKING IN CURRENT
All supporting documents including IMES, Accuity, Experian, Child Support Payment reports, MUST be indexed as Document Type = System Verifications (never as the document type of Applications, Reviews or Verification)
- Press Save as Document button
- Press Review & Submit button
- Review document details on Review Document Details popup
- If the information is correct, press Submit
- If the information needs to be corrected, press Go Back
- On successful upload, the Submission Complete window will appear.
- Press Close if finished uploading
- Press Upload More Files to continue uploading documents
