How Participants Navigate to Apply Online

The Family Support Division updated our online application process for SNAP, Temporary Assistance, and Child Care Subsidy as of March 31. If you already started an application using the Missouri Benefit Center but had not yet submitted it, you will need to complete a new application.
  • Go to mydss.mo.gov. You will see Welcome to my DSS.
  • Under How Can We Help, choose the button that says ‘Apply for Services”.
  • Click the button for the program you want to apply for. Once you select the program, under ‘How do I Apply?’ select option 1, Apply online.
Food Stamps (SNAP) online application Under the signature box, you can attach supporting documents. Before submitting the application, you will need to check the Captcha box. Then you can Submit & Print the application. On the next page you can print or save a copy of the application. This page will also have the Application ID number. MO Healthnet Application To apply online for MO Healthnet, it will take you to the Health Benefits portal where you will set up an account to apply.
  • New Users:        Click on “Apply for Health Benefits to create your new account & apply
  • Returning Users:      Log into your Account by entering your Username & Password on this page & click the “Log On” button.
