FSINTRVW appears at the beginning and again at the end of a SNAP controlled flow. If taking a combo application, the second FSINTRVW (at the end of the flow) is for SNAP Application interviews only.
Households must reapply at the end of the certification period to continue to receive benefits. These applications are called recertifications. NAC (National Accuracy Clearinghouse) must be reviewed for all household members at recertification.
SNAP recertification interviews are waived when:
- All adult (age 18 and over) household members are elderly (age 60 and over) or disabled (E&D)
- There is no earned income
- No address change is reported
- Note: Complete an interview when a responsible household member requests an interview, even if it is waived.
