Follow the instructions below if a discrepancy is found on IMES. These instructions are for all programs.
Incorrect SSN on IMES #
BPT:

- Notify your supervisor or manager of the error
- Include the participant’s name, DCN, and correct SSN in the notification
- Supervisor/Manager will send a request to have this corrected
Note: Division of Employment Security will complete the request, but there is no time frame given for the correction, and if a client asks, let them know it will be corrected as soon as possible.
Supervisor/Manager:

- Send an email with the subject line, “Incorrect SSN on IMES” to the MHN Cole Policy email address – COLE.MHNPOLICY@dss.mo.gov.
- Include the client’s name, DCN, and correct SSN.
- Program and Policy have specific staff that will be able to request a fix for this.
Incorrect Employer on IMES #
If an employer is listed on IMES, but the participant states that is a mistake, the participant must dispute the error with the Division of Employment Security.
